GREEN ISLE WAREHOUSE

Green Isle Warehouse launched operations in 2020 with the opening of its first dry storage facility in Glencoe, MN. The following year, the company expanded by establishing a second location in Chaska, MN, designed to maintain refrigerated temperatures between 34°F and 38°F. The Chaska facility was also built with flexibility in mind, featuring sectional design to accommodate dry storage as well.

 

However, the company’s roots run far deeper than its recent expansion. Green Isle Warehouse stems from the long-standing legacy of Bartels Truck Line, a family-owned and operated transportation company founded in 1947. For generations, the Bartels family has built a reputation for excellence in trucking, and through decades of experience, they recognized the increasing need for dependable storage solutions—leading to a strategic and successful move into the warehousing industry.

 

Since its inception, Green Isle Warehouse has experienced steady growth. The Glencoe facility originally featured 40,000 square feet of space and a storage capacity of approximately 1,800 pallets, utilizing both selective racking and floor storage. In early 2024, the facility was expanded by 10,000 square feet, boosting capacity to roughly 2,500 pallets.

 

Meanwhile, the Chaska facility opened with more than 42,000 square feet of selective racking, providing space for approximately 2,500 pallets. In mid-2024, it underwent a significant expansion—adding 38,800 square feet and incorporating drive-in racking to further enhance efficiency. This brought the total storage capacity in Chaska to approximately 7,000 pallets.

With a strong foundation built on integrity, adaptability, and operational excellence, the company is well-positioned to deliver scalable, reliable warehousing and distribution solutions that meet the evolving needs of its partners—today and into the future.
